Airborne at La Fière: Slugfest in Normandy

A lot of good men gave their lives to keep that stone bridge in American hands. Thank God they did, or the Utah Beach landings may have been different.

Thanks Dale for another informative history lesson from WW2. I knew of the D Day invasion of Normandy, of course but didn't know of the defense of this bridge at La Fiere. I guess that us old dogs can still learn.
