LTC (Join to see) Nanton is where I stopped for gasoline and the attendant told me to roll up my driver’s window to keep the Bugs from infiltrating my car!

I went to Warner a little town just North of Coutts/ US Border and mosquitos attacked me while taking pictures at this park. Nanton was bugless.

Besides this P-80/T-33 shooting star trainer, there was an old tractor HART PARR, Charles City Iowa USA.

Most major cities have at least one of these planes in their parks. I recall as a child playing in a park in South whittier, California with one of these planes on the ground and you could climb it on the playground. I know they made over 6,000 of these so hundreds of them are probably Nationwide in the USA and canada. I have seen at least five of them on stands just in Alberta alone.

Wow! Those things were huge for the day. I sure wouldn't have wanted to have been on the receiving end of those.
