Every thing he's done prior to becoming Chairman of the JCS was a fantastic career. After his comments about informing his Chinese counterpart if we were to attack when Trump was president and the DEI garbage he's enabling, he just a mope now.
He came to Anniston Army Depot in 2017 for a visit to the various refurbishment programs with the post commander. He couldn't be bothered to meet the 6 uniformed officers running tenant commands that were stationed there. That told me all I needed to know about the General. But he wanted me to grease the skids with the Civilian Marksmanship Program in order to buy a M1 and a M1911A1. At the time, the Congress hadn't authorized the sale of the pistols yet.

LTC Trent Klug Yep. Hero status is not permanent. One mis-step from hero to zero.

CWO4 Terrence Clark The thing is though, it's his own forced error and it just may cost us in the long run.

What a heroic move that he would never wear a medal for; it was foolish but the only way to save his men. Fortunately it didn’t kill him. He probably learned a lot that day. Probably doesn’t want to talk about it either. I can’t imagine it falls under good e memories

A brave and exemplary action. A shame to have tossed that all away to wallow in the slime of politics.
