Fort Benning, ‘home of the Infantry,’ is now Fort Moore

MAJ Montgomery Granger At least the appellation “Fort Moore” will represent ‘We Were Soldiers Once and Young’, a movie their grandparents remember!

Although I will always think of it as Ft. Benning and dislike renaming things based on political views. I couldn’t think of a better soldier and his family to name it after.
