Were he a democrat, these charges would not have been brought. We all know that.
That said, Santos should resign now. He is unable to represent the people of his district effectively now.

If the indictments bear fruit, and Santos is judged guilty (it's NY, of course he is) it is a good thing to cull a little corruption from a corrupt top to bottom government. Unfortunately, Santos is the lowest of low hanging fruit, demonstrating once again the corruption baked into the DOJ. The timing is such that state media will ignore the ending of Title 42, the failure to account for over 85,000 illegal migrant children into the hands of whom ? , the release of the Biden/CCCP money trail, etc., etc., and fixate on nobody freshman representive who has achieved nothing, advanced no bills and hasn't figured out the way to the washroom. Good job corrupt DOJ! You got this! (Do I get points for each use of "corrupt"?)
