MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - You went and fought in an unp0pular war so that makes you a hero to me. We all could have run up to Canada but we chose to do the right thing. So don't tell me you're not a HERO.

He did. Stayed in after WWII but didn't go to Korea. Discharged as a gunny in '55 with severe PTSD. Died in Chicago in 2003.
