He passed away 61 years ago, I asked my Mom (they married after the war in 1947) and she said she thought he was in New Jersey part of the time then went to England in 1945. He went to work for Pratt & Whitney after the war. We had a photo of him with a P-47, I'll ask her to look for it. Maybe the aircraft will have some squadron identifier.
