Just like here in VA where the Board of Supervisors raised taxes and then increased their own salaries. BTW, all Democrats except for the one Republican who voted against it.

If the voters don't like it, they can vote them out. It isn't as bad as something Democrats put in their latest budget that would allow for $7,500 in electric car discounts even for those making over $125,000. Even worse is when you have Democrats paying people guaranteed Universal income to do nothing but why drugs and Panhandle. Also, Democrats in California want to do reparations we should probably be about the budget of Canada. So on a scale of one to 100, this giveaway to people who make $60,000 and think about this, President Biden has given us 13% inflation the last two years. He has spent over six to eight trillion dollars and he wants to spend $4 trillion dollars more and stupid Nancy Pelosi said that you must be a right-winger if you don't believe in paying more taxes. No, JFK and Bill Clinton believed in lower taxes but Nancy Pelosi I follow her on her Facebook page says a lot of stupid stuff.

So if you're comparing the negligence of Republicans in that state compared to what I see just with taxes alone and handouts people who don't deserve it, I think the Democrats are definitely would tip the scale severely compared to what Republicans have done concerning this free school lunch bill.

Even though this is a conservative posting, not everything that is right wing is automatically wrong because it doesn't follow the Democratic left of Vladimir Lenin talking points.

If you really want to look at ways, look at the inflation reduction Act but look at the first covid relief bill. President Biden talks about oil companies charging too much when he says nothing about private colleges charging 1500% or 15 times the price of inflation when the price of inflation and the last 35 years has been about 190% but yet President Biden wants to forgive some student loans to overprice colleges who give Democrats lots of money and who Democrats have given lots of money just in this covid relief bill of paying back donors.

In this article, I think it's a drop in the bucket compared to what Democrats have been doing. Not to say that it shouldn't be advertised and called out, but if the voters of North Dakota are upset, this grievance can be brought up at election time.
