LTC (Join to see) We have an unusual presidential administration that is working to disable and weaken this country rather than strengthen and prosper it. But truly, the Left is acting on a long term plan to weaken America Lt Col Charlie Brown Maj Wayne Crist SPC Gary C. LTC (Join to see) And all their comrades. I thought Hussein Obama was particularly America-hateful, but seemingly this destructive agenda goes way back. The Democrats have been preparing US to submit to the New World Order. Canada and most free Western countries on same track.

We've been sliding down a slippery slope since the 1960's. Lyndon Johnson was (my personal opinion) the greedy guy that kicked the door open to blatant deceit.

We have a president and administration that is working to keep our country on pace with the rest of the world. As I'm typing this I'm watching an advertisement for the Mercedes all electric vehicles now available locally. Look, I'm no fan of EVs but they are the future. Eventually they will progress beyond being the econo-box sized vehicles they are right now and I might actually consider one, I'm seeing great reports on the all electric pickups. Considering pickups were the original bed for SUVs, full sized electric vehicles won't be far behind.

A hundred years ago the internal combustion engine was not foolproof or cost effective either. That's probably why I can remember seeing horses and wagons in downtown Hartford in the early 50s. Like it or not, wise people need to embrace technological advances. Thought of you when I saw this:

I absolutely agree with you LTC Stephen Conway. I'd pay money to watch he and the rest of his family wearing penitentiary overalls .

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen big government socialism not the way it was before President Biden took office but the way he's acting now as described in Newt gingrich's new book.

SFC Bernard Walko You're absolutely right. I just don't see the "rush" you refer to. I see incentives, long term goals, and bills to improve the infrastructure to support those advances in alternative sources.

Many years ago, when I was in school, we were taught to think and reason. Those were the days. Electric cars DO NOT SAVE THE PLANET. Technology is not there yet to make it all work together. Al Gore, John Kerry and all those who believe them are not helping things, for them, it's just a lucrative gig. Well wishing people who wish it to be true should harken back to when they believed in Santa Clause... how did that work for them?

Holy smokes, another product of Ft. Leonardwood! I was there in 1967... a few years before you. We were building bridges during November and it was ccccold in Missouri. Repaired a few during TET 1968 in very hot humid weather... I liked Leonardwood better. Upon my return to USA I had orders to push troops at Ft. Benning, but I couldn't do it. By the time My dad asked when I was supposed to be at my new duty station I was already about a week AWOL. I knew I couldn't look the new recruits in the eyes, knowing what I would be training them for. I was able to get in front of the Command Sergeant Major for the 3rd MP Group, CI at Fort McPherson on my way to Benning. When he was reading my records he stopped short and asked me if I realized that I was AWOL... I told him that I thought that was just matter of perception. He delivered a VERY LOUD exchange so I told him that somewhere in the paperwork it should show that I have another 30 days of paid leave between that day and my discharge date in 6 months. Then I told him that I didn't think it would be very difficult to adjust the future leave days to 23, and then everything should be square. After his red face started cooling off he stood up and said "Son, you work for me now and he made me the "Radar O'Riley" of the 3rd Army MP Group CI for my final 6 months.
