Our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents sacrificed a lot through WW2. With our National Debt out of control we are going to have to sacrifice again, or our Country will go bankrupt.

I agree but I am not sure we have the national will. We certainly lack for political leadership

I believe it was sir. My grandparents were of the Lost Generation and until my grandmother was elderly, past around 1980, she baked all the household bread. My grandmother was born in 1900.
