New for 2023: Mossberg Patriot LR Tactical - Guns in the News

OK, It's an ad for a new offering from Mossberg. That's not why I'm posting. I have a problem with the name. By adding the word "Tactical" Mossberg is trying to cater to certain group of consumers, and triggering the anti-2A crowd to raise a fuss. Tactical has nothing to do with a Hunting long gun. Tactical invokes thoughts of "Weapons of War" and infantry maneuvers. Most of us know that any slug thrower has a variety of uses, why stir up the nest unnecessarily. We have enough problems with the bogus term "Assault Weapons" with out Mossberg trying to claim, in a sideways manner, their new offering is a sniper rifle. That's just My Personal Opinion on the matter.
