To this day, in American History, they were farmers/ tradesmen and average workers turned soldier that went across a freezing River in the dark and attacked a superior force on Christmas in frigid temperatures.
We were as bad A$$ and dedicated as any in The History of Western Nations.
Let's get back to that. Merry Christmas everyone.

The group of Men that navigated the Delaware were as mixed race group of white, black, Hispanic and natives Americans called "The " Indispensables" whom were well versed in navigating up icy waters and were from Marblehead, Massachusetts a seacoast community and the 2nd largest port after Boston . These men were a military unit already proved in battle and ones that NEVER had retreated. It is doubtful any other group could have got the across the river in those conditions. These were also the men captured many British ships and also that first started the US Navy.
