What I find interesting if we replace Republican with Democrat and Democrat with Republican, the same exact story could be read by Democratic voters and feel the same way many Republicans feel when reading the story as is.

CSM Charles Hayden - That's the problem. Running for, and staying in, federal office seems to mostly attract people who want the position and power, not to serve the people who elected them. They then spend their time in office putting on theater to get elected again but doing very little to try and make the country better. I mean if they can get some stuff done and get elected again, sure they will do it. But for most their primary concern is getting elected again.

SPC Kevin Ford - our politicos have lost the faith in the American people and the mistrust is beginning to show the cracks in the façade that they have created to hide behind. Political power is now synonymous to personal gain.

You know that fiery blast you send to your reps... The secretary operating the phones email typically trashes it as spam.. Your better off going on a twitter trantrum that will get you a bigger audience.

A possibility. Don't tweet, don't FB, don't TicToc.
But do:
City council meetings?
County board meetings?
Town halls by state and federal reps?
Show up and sound off . (Why not? Retired, still vertical, most pieces-parts OEM, opportunity for a drink or two at San Augustine's. Never forget we the people fund these excercises in smoke blowing)
OR,
We're back to apathy.
