I don't think that is Putin's fault. You could tag him for accellerating things, but the trend was in before the Ukraine invasion. Peter Zeihan has been writing about it for years.

A multipolar, more dangerous world is the natural consequence to the collapse of Globalism. The same thing happened following WWI, ending the first round of Globalization. WWII was a consequence. Thomas P.M. Barnett is a good source on that.
