The 'Bump Stock' Decision That Should Have Been But Wasn't

You folks know I don't like "Bump Stocks". They're nothing more than spray and pray bullet wasters. SCOTUS has determined that they are not legal for use in this country, by refusing to hear the case. The crazy man in Las Vegas would not have had the body count He did, if not for his bump stocks. I know there's going to be a lot of back and forth, still on the issue. I am happy it went the direction it did.

Bump Stocks Are A Joke, Fired An AR With One A Few Years Ago, Only 3 Out Of 30 Rounds Hit The Target At 50 Yards.

Bump stocks are a joke, but they were expensive and came with a piece of paper stating that they were legal and approved by the ATF. So, why weren't they purchased back from the consumers by the government when they were declared illegal? We were told to destroy them or face criminal penalties. We were never given an option to be reimbursed the money spent on these purchases.

I don't like them much either. A neighbor of mine had one and it would be 2 in the morning when he decided to use it. It would take me a few minutes to realize I wasn't the target, but I never called anyone to report it.
