He had by that time been so hooked on his own propaganda ,and his Dr.'s treats, that he was nearly feeble without those gold packets.
Even the D-Day invasion beginning to land was not forwarded to him because he was asleep and left orders not to be disturbed. And no one dared wake him from his sleep. He was that unpredictable and madness was set in by then.

Napoleon conquered Moscow. Then he walked home during the Winter. Most of his Army was lost to the weather. Frostbite and freezing to death in the outdoors.
Der fukker had stalled the invasion in order to level a city in reprisal to the murder of one of his commanders.
Had he invaded in the Spring , instead of midSummer , ... those 2 months delay doomed him.
