All they do in Washington is find ways to bend or distort laws and hire the IRS to enforce their interpretations.

We take an oath to protect and defend the CONSTITUTION against all enemies, foreign and domestic. We do not take an oath to blindly follow politicians, technocrats, bureaucrats and quacks. The very nature of our oath requires THOUGHTFUL CONSIDERATION of our directives, orders, regulations and policies. Sometimes it feels as if we are on the caboose of a runaway train, only able to see where we've been, and there are demons at the switches. We need to gain control of that train, slow it down, and then make sure we are headed on the right tracks, because there are no 'U' turns.

Absolutely. And it isn't their decision on how "religious" one must be or any other nonsense they spout

It is a real life catch 22. It would be better to simply allow the individual to make the choice, somewhat like with the anthrax vax, also controversial, experimental, harmful. COVID vax is EXPERIMENTAL and should not be required. Furthermore, there is growing evidence that the vax DOES MORE HARM THAN GOOD.
