My friend's daughter is in Intel and served in Afghanistan under fire. But so often she was told women are not in combat....really?

No, ma'am. You see that wasn't *real* combat. Those bullets knew they were women and refused to impact - they all swerved to hit a REAL Soldier or REAL Marine (i.e. a man) nearby. And the bombs flat out refused to detonate if a female was even within a mile.
Obviously.
Real combat is done by Real Men (TM). Ipso facto, if anyone other than a Real Man (TM) is involved anywhere, it cannot be *real* combat.
