@CW4 Guy Butler These continuing disclosures continue to erode my faith in the government’s commitment to truth and openness to the public.

CW4 Guy Butler Ah yes, process crimes from a hoax. The best of times.

James Comey should face the music for process crimes attached to this. He stated 245 times under oath that he couldn't remember things when questioned about the particulars of the 'Russian collusion' case. Andrew McCabe lied under oath regarding this case and has yet to be prosecuted. Good times.

I agree. There should be no "deliberative process" protections for FOIA. That is the most important part for the public. We can SEE the decisions. We want to know WHY.

But... if there *is* a deliberative process protection, then let's honor it.

MSgt Steve Sweeney You're right. Barr didn't charge them. Why? My opinion is no democrat political appointee will ever face prison time for contempt of Congress or lying under oath. Case in point - Eric Holder, James Comey and Andrew McCabe. However if your a republican, you'll be torn apart. LTG Flynn, Roger Stone and Paul Manafort. The last two went to prison based on information found while investigating a fake dossier that federal law enforcement knew was fake, yet they still ran with it.

There is a two tier justice system in this country and it's based on your political leanings.

After reading the article,, here is the best picture I can get....

CREW: We want internal documents showing how you came to your decision.
DOJ: No. Those are protected as part of the deliberative process. We will heavily redact them as such.
CREW: I'm suing!!!
DOJ: Fine.
DOJ: Judge, these are deliberative. They discuss whether or not to charge.
Judge: That would definitely qualify. But I don't believe you. *I* think your mind was already made up, regardless of what the documents ACTUALLY SAY, because I don't believe you. Na na na na boo boo. Thfffppptt.
DC Circuit: It's bad for Trump? WE AGREE.
Also DC Circuit (internally): Wait, this could be a bad precedent.
Also DC Circuit: We want to emphasize that had this been any other case we would have ruled differently. But because it was *this* case, we uphold the decision.

Sounds legit to me.
