Good morning, Rallypoint, and welcome to the July 27th edition of Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD): "Crepuscular Moon Rays over Denmark." Rays of light that appear to converge at a single point are called crepuscular rays. We usually see this phenomenon with the Sun at either sunrise or twilight. But that isn't the Sun peeking up over The Limfjord in Denmark. It's a single exposure of the Moon, bathed in sunlight. Do you see the planet Jupiter? The Andromeda Galaxy?
