School district requires students to share 'inclusive' locker rooms or face counseling

A Maryland public school district's Gender Identity guidelines states that "students must be provided access to gender-specific facilities (e.g., bathrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms) in alignment with their consistently asserted gender identity."
Furthermore, students that aren’t comfortable sharing these private areas with the opposite sex —“trans peers”— must be sent to counseling to "foster understanding of gender identity."

This kind of system is being established in various school districts across the country ; parents and guardians (and concerned taxpayers) should check in with their local schools to make sure they have an understanding of what rules are being imposed upon the children.
