APOD: 2022 June 29 - Solar System Family Portrait

Good morning, Rallypoint, and welcome to the June 29th Hump Day edition of Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD): "Solar System Family Portrait." We travel south today for this view of the morning sky outside of San Pédro de Atacama in Chilé. Using a fish-eye camera lense, the astrophotographer has captured a planetary line-up that won't be seen in the morning sky again for another one hundred years (2122). From left to right we see Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, Mars, the Moon, Uranus, Venus, and Mercury. Both Uranus (zoom in to see it) and Mercury have been enhanced to make them visible. The peak just below Mercury is the volcano Licancabur.
