This is a proxy war with Russia and the Ukrainians are paying the price.
What we should be doing is breaking the North Sea blockade by escorting those grain ships.

And --> an interesting perspective in The Scotsman. Especially the last sentence: "...lions deluded by jackels.'

Ukraine is being sacrificed for US political interests – Kenny MacAskill MP
The American Conservative isn’t a website I’d normally be drawn to, quite the opposite.

What does Ukraine offer us again? Besides paying Hunter Biden millions of dollars?

PFC (Join to see) - I think it's all stupid. I say let Europe handle Ukraine. We should stay out of it.

Sgt (Join to see) We can't though, it's NATO. We provide military support for practically the whole EU. If American influence falls then Russia or Chinese will raise. But due to internal issues our influence is bound to fall. The last time the us was isolationist we got dragged into a war. The world thanks to the internet and global trade prevents any modern economy from being isolated. Only places who can do it are those of north Korea or Maybe some small nations. But not us.

PFC (Join to see) - Ukraine isn't part of NATO nor are they part of the EU.
And we shouldn't be providing all the military support we do when we get practically nothing in return. That's my point.

Sgt (Join to see) I understand your point. The status quo matters more to those in power be it government or private. The average Joe may not benefit from the system in place but someone or something's always do. If somethings or someone's weren't benefiting we wouldn't do what we do.
