If a state doesn't enforce this but a city or county does that's between you and your local health department. If counties or towns start enforcing this for the upcoming school year states may not make a call. We've continued to see this for every other measure be it masks or remote learning. It's now being regulated locally and not broadly. If big brother doesn't enforce this via the department of education, My question is why should you care? Isn't this what small government is about?
