SSgt Clare May I just bought a .45 ACP pistol (SIG P220) and started reloading for it, so it is going to be a while until I can afford another weapon.

SGT Steve McFarland Lol... I know the feeling... broke the bank for a 6.5 x 55 swiss, and a 450 bushmaster... plus the dies, plus the bullets... Thank goodness I had some IMR 3031 and 700x packed away and a few thousand large rifle/pistol primers.

SSgt Clare May I've spent over $3500 on reloading equipment and supplies in the past year. Bullets haven't been too pricey, but primers and powder are still hard to find and expensive.

SGT Steve McFarland - Lol... I probably got $3500 worth of different powders...lol... I was gonna say your on the cheep side... but after 45 years of reloading...over the course of time...you pick up stuff...lol... Found some IMR3031 for $29.95 a pound...not the $12.95 it used to be...but in todays crapholashootout... its a bargain.

When I left Hawaii first thing I did was in some personal protection weapons: .40-cal S&W pistol, .40-cal S&W carbine with a scope, an AR15 with 30-round mags and a 12 ga. shotgun with 5-round mags.

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi Ironically, having a 50% rating for PTSD prevented me from purchasing weapons.
