Good afternoon, Rallypoint, and welcome to the May 7th Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD): "Firefall by Moonlight." I've often admired any work where light is featured in unique ways. So (at least in my book) the foresight to anticipate how a bright Moon would play off of Horsetail Falls in Yosemite National Park is something to be appreciated. This photo was taken in the early morning hours of April 15th of this year. I'll post a 'firefall' image of Horsetail Falls in a separate comment.
