Canceling student loan debt would make college more expensive

I'm fairly certain I disappointed my Father by never getting a Bachelor's Degree. That's OK, He had my Sister's PhD in Psychology to look at and ruminate on. Except for my time active, with knowledge of the trades, I've always made more than She. I didn't mind the pay cut when I went active because I knew that what I was doing was Important to/for the Country. On more than one occasion I had the chance to complete an Engineering Degree and turned it down. To those that took student loans and now don't want to pay them back, I say; You're going to pay it back in one form or another. Maybe it'll be by writing a check monthly, as you should, or maybe it'll be the increase in your taxes that will flow downhill to your children. You don't get something for nothing.
