I think this is a very good discussion on how all men are not created equal. I've never been IQ tested that I know of, but my ability to take a sig gen and O'scope to troubleshoot a circuit board to the component level, or design systems, or equipment to perform certain tasks indicates(at least to me) that I'm no where near the bottom. It still came down to, I enjoyed that kind of work and found it self-fulfilling. Which is a large portion of the discussion in this piece. I have the metrics, from my time active, that I was one of the best in my field.

I've known many who have been blessed with high IQ's and/or talents, who are dumber than a sack of bricks. I've known many college educated idiots that I wouldn't trust to tie their own shoes. Worst of all, are the willfully ignorant. Those with the brains to know better but allow themselves to be led by their noses to the worst ends.
