No Degree here either. But when Engineering says they want you to get something done and give no guidance other than a P.O. for materials. I'd call that a Master's Job.

I'm still fighting the millennials dope use. Not that every generation isn't affected by drugs, but most kids I encounter think using is a right.

I mean I have buddies that use weed for ptsd or injuries they sustained because the narcotics the VA prescribes is literally putting vets in the ground. Also does significantly less damage than alcohol which is legal but hey war on drugs right…

Recent (ie: within the past 20-30 years) corporate greed as done as much to hinder the new generation as anything else. When my parents built their home in the late '70s, most of the materials came from "mom and pop" suppliers. Lumber came from the local sawmill, bricks from the family owned masonry plant in the next county over, etc. Now, everything is "big box store" at inflated rates while some fat millionaire gets even richer.

Add to that, not everything needs a Masters Degree from an Ivy League college. We need to go back to the days where working with our hands was looked upon favorably. Everyone at some point will need an electrician, plumber, carpenter, mechanic, etc.
