Willy Pete is some bad mojo that I personally feel we should be using more of. I am assuming that everyone is aware of what happened in Israel a few days ago. This is what happens when a nation under estimates their enemy becoming "fat & happy" in the process. It is very important IMO for the enemy to fear us on the battlefield, and to that end we should be ready and willing to use whatever we must, whenever we must to preserve the nation. Especially since we have obviously failed miserably with both our policies of appeasement and our kissing of Iran's butt.

GREAT picture Chip !!

Unfortunately I don't like the idea of WP being used in populated areas as it does have a tendency to start a fire when in contact with flammable material including skin. But the writers need to do better research. But then it would not meet what they are saying and trying lead opinion instead of reporting. Simple wiki search on WP. They would know this from two conventions: Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCCW) and the Geneva Cnvention. As WP is not considered a chemical weapon.
"The convention also exempts certain categories of munitions from its definition of incendiary weapons: specifically, these are munitions which "may have incidental incendiary effects, such as illuminants, tracers, smoke or signalling systems" and those "designed to combine penetration, blast or fragmentation effects with an additional incendiary effect."

"The use of incendiary and other flame weapons against matériel, including enemy military personnel, is not directly forbidden by any treaty."
WP is designated as a smoke or incendiary device and it is how tracers work.
