APOD: 2022 March 12 - Point Reyes Milky Way

Good morning, Rallypoint, and welcome to the March 12th Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD): "Point Reyes Milky Way." Those of you that have been probably recognize where this image was captured (Point Reyes, California, looking west). Those of you that haven't been there before (like me) have a new bucket list destination to consider. Today's APOD was taken earlier this month, and gives us a late evening (I'd say around 3:30AM or so) glimpse of the winter sky in the Northen Hemisphere. Taurus' Aldebaran provides the image centerpoint, with the Pleiades and California Nebula to the right. Orion, Barnard's Loop, and Sirius (Canis Major) is to the left.
