It took over 200 tries to get passed?? Who, in all that time, would think that lynching is ok????

I realize some are in favor of hate crime as an additional charge. I can't think of many serious crimes that could be labeled love crimes. Yet love is the root of many murders.
Since lynching is murder it has been a capital crime for at least 100 years. I wonder how many tax dollars were consumed to pass this bill and the other bills trying to ban lynching which is illegal.

Thank You Brother Steve for this story. I wonder who it was that did a lot of the lynching? For some reason I want to say it was the KKK. Wasn't the KKK the militant arm of the democrats? I'm starting to see some hypocrisy here. Correct me if I'm wrong.
