"In Russian discourse, the idea of a “genocide” perpetrated by Ukrainians against ethnic Russians proliferated in opposition to the 2004 Orange Revolution. In that year, a Russian language website published an article entitled “The First Signs of the Russian Ethnocide,” referring to a draft law that would have required all civil servants to use the Ukrainian language. The bill in question was rejected in the Ukrainian parliament, but the author believed it could still be passed in the future. If that happened, she predicted, Russian speakers would be excluded from the government, have their media eliminated, be unable to defend themselves in court, and even face assault and murder.17"
I was informed by two individuals from Odessa, Ukraine those who think themselves as Russian in eastern Ukraine have been victimized and is one of the reasons Russia has invaded Ukraine. Notice the attack appears to be cutting off east Ukraine from western Ukraine.
We listen to the news, but it never speaks or reads about this issue. I wonder why? But I fear this situation that is a local situation will grow out of control on purpose.
Most of us here grew up with Russia being the bad guy. It appears, they still are. Unless, we understand the physical abuse angle.
Now, what happens if the global system stops buying all Russian oil? Or, no longer allows all Russian banks access to SWIFT? Will that be an act of war? We did something like that to Japan in the 1940's. They choose war.
We have seen the world system get their agenda moving forward on many examples. Libya, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan are the latest ones. Also, open borders and sub-cultures to grow government that weaken Democracies IMO.
What will the world system do to move their agenda forward? What is that agenda with Russia and Russian banking?
Unless there is a peace made between Russia and Ukraine soon, get your fuel while it is cheap.
