At the risk of being accused a Putin apologist, I think attaching a one dimensional label of "evil" does nothing to advance our own interests. Putin may have been coy since taking office, but has never secretive about his intent to rebuild and reinfuse the Russian Empire. It is our naiveté to believe the Saturday morning cartoons where the bully is assuaged by hugs and pink cupcakes. Everyday some talking head tells us to put yourself into the other's shoes, head, whatever. If you do that with Putin, he becomes entirely logical and predictable. Restoring his vision of the Russian Empire is paramount. The Ukraine is a crown jewell. Long referred to as a breadbasket, it also returns Russia to a year round ice free port. By all accounts, Ukraine is a corrupt regime, internally divided with many separatists preferring Russia. Personally, I've not seen a bright line reasoning as to our interests there. Our interests should be reversing the invasion of the U.S. by illegals, returning us to a position of strength on the world stage and combating the degradation of the American Experience. 1LT Voyle Smith MSgt Dale Johnson Sgt (Join to see)

Lt Col Charlie Brown - That seems to be the posture that is encompassing the world in these times and the strength or weakness we show the world now, will ether escalate the global situation or cut it off before escalation... We are at a crucial position in the evolution of mankind on the world stage... imho...

Evil is exploiting a leadership vacuum. We have only ourselves to blame for allowing it to happen.
