A long time ago in a place far away I decided that a B.A. was a waste of my time and My Father's money. I couldn't see myself getting ahead with the same degree as thousands of others.
I've always been the the kid that took things apart to see how they worked and for a long time My ability to put them back together was lacking. This is what prompted my choice to go in to the trades.
In today's society a Bachelors of Arts Degree has as much clout as a HS Diploma did 40 years ago. Degrees in the STEM disciplines will get you a little farther. Until You have hands on experience you'll always be competing for entry-level positions. There are too many aspects of daily life that a computer or robot can't deal with. It takes a trained person's brain and hands to make it right.
