Saw this in the news right after the accident. One would think we'd have a pretty good fix on the location.

I would imagine there a sub close to the area if not sitting there, until the salvage crew can get there! That's a 14 billion dollar airplane sitting down there on the bottom! I would hope the Navy would not leave all that technology just sitting there!

One would think that for situations like this, there would be some sort of self-destruct mechanism in place.
