To be the very best leader/supervisor that I could be!! Treat the young men under me with respect and never expect them to do something that I would not do myself!! It served me well as all of the young men I had the pleasure of leading still to this day refer to me as Chief!!!

I worked all three of the defense programs aircraft! The F/A-18, AV-8, and the F-15!! I did QA inspections for FOD when they were ready for acceptance by the government!!

V-1 Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, responsible for 120-130 young sailors! Ensured all task given to me were carried out while in port and at sea!! When at sea responsible for the safety of personnel on the flight deck, also was a deck caller responsible for the safe movement of aircraft for launching and the safe movement after recovery!!
