If the people lose faith in the election process, they'll be no faith in the government that's elected. It's a simple concept.

Interesting. I wonder if there could ever be a hope that all 50 states as well as DC would ever agree to standardized election laws. Not federal laws. But laws that all could agree on. Long shot?
