He is a good kid and he will be emotionally scarred, probably for life by this. I hope he sues the media.

That's true, he was and is innocent, but even in his own mind he knows he should have stayed home and has remorse. Ask him if he thinks he should have stayed home that day or if he wishes he had stayed home that day. What you are saying is true and I believe it and agree with it.

He doesn't know he was "wrong" but like any rational individual he regrets that he was forced to take a life. If he didn't feel that way he would be a sociopath and he clearly is not.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - You're right Charlie, I changed it to; he knows he should have stayed home. He went looking for vigilante justice, and while I admire him for it, he came out of it pretty lucky. On a different day, with a different judge and jury, things may have turned out differently, but I'm glad they didn't. I believe justice was served, same as you.

PFC David Foster - I have a question during that whole trial it was never proven that he was there as a vigilante. If you read the transcripts of the trial and even the prosecutors notes. Too many people are running with lies and non truths that the media ran with months before the trial and refuse to look at the truth.

PFC David Foster - I don't believe that either. I think he innocently believed that if people saw him out there with that weapon that they would go after an easier target that was undefended.
