I read the article published in Haaretz (looks like same article so don't know what outlet originated it). The article came across like Israel bragging about using tech to assassinate . . . trying to set a new "standard" for targeted assassinations. Targeted assassinations are supposed to be illegal in our nation. But perhaps that only applies to on-the-ground - given reality - which creates a huge "gray" area. Haaretz actually publishes articles from time to time that are critical of Israeli's policies, which media outlets in U.S. usually will not consider publishing (i.e. read: Haaretz article about some Israeli policies are more objective than what is in U.S.A. media). Many are not accessible without registering, but it is free to register.
