Thank you my audiophile friend SGT (Join to see) for posting the music video of The Rolling Stones performing Honky Tonk Women' in honor of the fact that on August 23, 1969 - The Rolling Stones started a four week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'Honky Tonk Women' the group's fifth US No.1

"Mick Jagger introduced this as "a song for all the whores in the audience" sometimes during the live shows. This song was based on Hank Williams' "Honky Tonk Blues", but The Rolling Stones recorded it as a rock song for a single release. The country version, called "Country Honk", was released a few months later on their "Let It Bleed" album."

"Honky Tonk Women" written by Mick Jagger, Keith Richard
Lyrics
"I met a gin soaked, bar-room queen in Memphis
She tried to take me upstairs for a ride
She had to heave me right across her shoulder
'Cause I just can't seem to drink you off my mind

It's the honky tonk women
That gimme, gimme, gimme the honky tonk blues

I laid a divorcee in New York City
I had to put up some kind of a fight
The lady then she covered me in roses
She blew my nose and then she blew my mind

It's the honky tonk women
That gimme, gimme, gimme the honky tonk blues

It's the honky tonk women
That gimme, gimme, gimme the honky tonk blues
It's the honky tonk women
That gimme, gimme, gimme the honky tonk blues.'

One classic Rolling Stones song inspires me to post a few more
