Good morning Maj William W. 'Bill' Price and a remarkable image of the Lunar Eclipse from May 26, 2021... I found a short clipo from what was called a Super FLower Blood Moon over California in an amazing time-lapse of the eclipse... Although it was not the best vantage point, it did show the eclipse quite well even though there were clouds passing by in front of the Moon... It is still pretty awesome and I thought I would share it with your followers as it is a perfect adjunct to your Post...

From VideoFromSpace YouTube Channel:
The Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California captured footage of the lunar eclipse on May 26, 2021. The lunar eclipse is nicknamed the Super Flower Blood Moon for its combination of supermoon, lunar eclipse and May full moon.

Thank you my friend Maj William W. 'Bill' Price for posting the NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) for Thursday, May 27, 2021 entitled "Mid Eclipse and Milky Way.
Thank you my friend Sgt (Join to see)for mentioning me.

Image: Mid-Eclipse and Milky Way - Image Credit & Copyright John Kraus

APOD Background
"Explanation: May's perigee Full Moon slid through Earth's shadow yesterday entertaining night skygazers in regions around the Pacific. Seen from western North America, it sinks toward the rugged Sierra Nevada mountain range in this time-lapse series of the total lunar eclipse. Low on the western horizon the Moon was captured at mid-eclipse with two separate exposures. Combined they reveal the eclipsed Moon's reddened color against the dark night sky and the diffuse starlight band of the Milky Way. Frames taken every five minutes from the fixed camera follow the surrounding progression of the eclipse partial phases. In the foreground a radio telescope dish at California's Owens Valley Radio Observatory points skyward."
