Could be that I'm just projecting, SFC (Join to see), but after that once you do it noticeably slower and more deliberately (even after the bleeding stop), which kind of moots the whole raison d'être of the technique.

I'm merely offering my own semi-informed reasoning for why you don't see whole lot of folks teaching instinct aiming with your middle finger as the trigger finger and your index finger up on the frame. If you want to play instructor, find yourself a time machine and go lecture the folks who tried it and didn't keep trying it after getting bit.
