3 different groups of American reporters witnessed the fighting in Berlin in April/May, 1945. The Russians let them through to observe the brutal fighting. They disobeyed General Eisenhower. Eisenhower discredited them but their stories were true. The reporters were sent home but they got exclusive stories of their experiences.
