In fact when I visited West Point over the years their museum did not mention the Vietnam war, only in tiny bits. For me this was a devastating statement that our government was vomiting out graduate leaders with little understanding of the US Army’s Vietnam war, and seemingly ignoring their dedicated heroism during the years of Vietnam war. I hope this museum is better today.

Cpl Archie H. - Find solace in the fact that those of us who were there remember. I have also seen recognition from Gulf War vets citing their welcome home and support is directly related to the guilt some feel for our treatment.

There were two huge mistakes made in Vietnam, 1st one was letting Politicians run the war, 2nd was the erratic bombing, every time we put the NVA on their knees they were allowed to get back up because they stopped the bombing.
