I am 73 years old. I am out of the employment market. A problem facing Americans, today is economic isolation. The US created a culture where people who are financially secure do not care whether their neighbor is secure. It has been said in this way “I have mine and effen you” Many government employees, with some in the military living off taxes feel government should not invest in people.
