Good Monday morning Col Burroughs and Posse. I see you are up early. How much progress did you make yesterday in digging out?
Progress is sometimes slow and then sometimes quite quick. Oftentimes we have to spend time preparing the ground or our troops or ourselves for a massive change. During that time it looks like not much is happening, but then when we implement the change, the forward progress is huge. So often things are that way; during the preparation, the progress is scarcely noticeable only to appear to move forward in a leap. Sometimes we can only see the progress when we look back over time as the movement on a daily scale is small. But as long as it is there...do not be impatient and keep moving. Even when we sometimes make mistakes and have to do something over, we are still ahead of those who are not trying. Never quit.

That’s a great one, LTC Charlie!! Teddy Roosevelt said: “ If you haven’t failed, you haven’t tried”. I have used that one with my students and my scouts. It resonates with many of them.

I hope you are content in the progress you and those who depend on you have made thus far in this challenging time of late winter. No doubt you have persevered in previous challenging circumstances. I pray that you and I are striving to do better in terms of helping others since our situation is much more secure than others are facing at this point. ‘But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.’ [1 Timothy 6:6-8 ESV] my brother-in-Christ

I pray LORD that YOU bless the customs and border patrol agents, the local and state police stationed on duty near the southwest border with discernment, eyes to see where the migrant caravan intends to swarm the border, and capability to hold back the swarm to ensure they are not infected with any infectious diseases. I pray that YOU bless the citizens of Texas and Arizona living close to the border with a safe and secure night and month of March. ‘Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. [Psalm 23:4-5 ESV]
I pray that each and every one of the people on the terrorist watchlist who attempt to cross the border as part of the new surge of migrants, will be captured or killed if necessary. 'The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.' [Proverbs 11:3]
I pray for justice for the widows, widowers, orphans, the evicted, and unjustly accused tonight LORD. 'let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.' [Hebrews 4-16 ESV]
Lord I pray that guide a significant number of very-vocal, non-violent migrants to Wilmington, Delaware; Washington, D.C.; Alexandria, Virginia and other areas of whose majority voted for radical democrat candidates. I hope and pray they are not infected and intend to stay in Delaware, Washington, D.C. and the Maryland and Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. and leach off those communities ‘They [the radicals] have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah: he will remember their iniquity; he will punish their sins. [Hosea 1:9 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Monday night and awoke refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Lots of good quotes again today, sir. My favorite-
“Progress is not inevitable. It’s up to us to create it.” — Unknown Author

The world is not smooth. There will be glitches, hangups, breakdowns, but a leader will keep the forward movement going, somehow.

Here's to moving forward today, RallyPoint!
