Being a huge fan of Thomas Sowell’s work and the conclusions he reached, that any child can learn if properly taught, I cannot understand this:
“"The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so," the document for the "Equitable Math" toolkit reads. "Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity as well as fear of open conflict."”. I think that means every child will get every answer “CORRECT”! Thank you my friend CSM Charles Hayden for making us aware that "The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) recently encouraged teachers to register for training that encourages "ethnomathematics" and argues, among other things, that White supremacy manifests itself in the focus on finding the right answer"

Wow, does this mean that my masters in mathematics is really a masters in racism with a minor in white supremacy? I just do not know how to respond to this at this time. I always believed that mathematics is the universal language, what do I know?

Agreed, I do not know how to respond either. This sort of thinking feasts on victims. Sowell has written that he thinks every child should attend a school that expects and helps students to learn as he did in Harlem in 1930-40.
