Interesting scenarios. In # 3 my basic question is why is your gun in your vehicle and not on you?. 4th scenario, I do have a problem with the shooting. From the scenario; "He walks toward you and then reaches for his back pocket. You think he has a gun. You shoot him in the hip. Now, he turns and runs back to his truck and drives away. You call 911."
He reaches for the back pocket, you think he is reaching for a gun. You don't know! My gun would already be out, knowing there is a restraining order, finger off the trigger. I am not going to fire until I see a weapon. It would take him far more time to get his weapon into an attack position than for my finger to move to the trigger.
