Trying to control the climate is a losing proposition -- get pollution under control.

I honestly don't have a great idea how to reverse this trend. China and India and most of the developing world have no intention of reducing carbon emissions or stopping deforestation, and China is overfishing and destroying reefs around the world, including the Galapagos Islands, and the UN does nothing. The US has reduced CO2 emissions from our peak in 2000. If we don't invent cold fusion and offer it for free to the world, I don't foresee a reversal.
